Thanksgiving Bliss

Thanksgiving weekend was a TON of fun...I ate SO much turkey, greenbeans and mashed potatoes. I went to my Grandma's and Grandpa's in central Missouri for a few days then I went to my Nana's and Papa's in eastern Missouri for a few days.

At my Grandma's and Pa's I got to see some cows. I thought I would like play with them but Mom said it wouldn't be a good idea.
This next picture is of my Grandpa, me and my Dad.

At my Nana's and Papa's I got to play with the little tykes and I got to help Nana cook Thanksgiving dinner...Helping cook means I get to taste test...YUM...

I hope you all had as good of a Thanksgiving as I did! I can't wait till Christmas-Nana and Papa have shrimp every year!

BE the BLOG

My really good friend Putter-Girl gave me this award! Can you believe that? She is really quite a great friend! She has taught me SO much about being a nanny and I really appreciate all the good stuff...Come March I am going to be using ALL of it!
I really enjoy reading Putter's Blog everyday...It's not just because she is so pretty either!
With much gratitude, I accept this award from Putter!
I would like to take the opportunity to pass this award on to Balboa!

Groomed

I got groomed yesterday.
Mom has tried to groom me herself but I put on such a show she has stopped, much to my Dad's disappointment as grooming sessions get expensive.

We go to a place called Swanson's in Shawnee, KS. It isn't too far from our house and the people there are SO nice. A vet owns it and was there yesterday when I got my snazzy new do. He also does some photography and decided I'd be a great candidate to shoot! Before I unveil some pieces of what I like to refer to as masterpieces, I want to brag a bit about Swanson's. They have HUGE runs with my own bed. They give me only the finest treats (Three Dog's Bakery) and have TONS of outdoor and indoor romp rooms. They have a fenced in dog park of their own, nature trails and an agility arena. They are wonderfully nice...Especially because they spoil me! Lynette, my groomer is a doll! She is so gentle with my ears and my "sensitive" spots like my feet and my chin. I am SO happy Mom doesn't groom me anymore!

Now, to unveil some MASTERPIECES of ME in MY new do!

Lovin' MY new do!

Long Time...

Okay, I know it has been a really long time since my last post. I have a good excuse though...Mom's camera broke and she was researching which one she wanted to get. Well, she finally decided on one Sunday and she talked Dad into it. So, we did a few practice shots with it yesterday. Here are a few of my favorites:

This is me playing fetch. I am lightening fast. Mom hopes she can improve her action shots. This new camera should do much better than the old...taking 3 pictures per second!

This is me on my favorite leather chair. I was just posing for the pic.

This is a close up.

This is my profile...I need a haircut!

Hope you enjoyed!

OMG: I met Stella!!!

OMG! I got to meet Stella last night. She is quite the fire cracker. I have never been to Stanley's casa before, but I could smell his wonderful fragrance when we pulled in the drive. Mom dressed me up as a biker boy, which she didn't get any pictures of because I tore off the hat and scarf when my bestest buddy came to the door to greet me.
Stanley and I romped a while in the backyard. Mom and Dad played with Stella for a while but then I just had to meet this little woman that is going to be my best buddy's sister.
Whew, she chased me around for a while and whipped me into shape in just 10 minutes! At first I was like "Oh, look at the little girl. Isn't she just a little cutie pie!"...Then she barked at me and it was on! She is a sassy little girl-she is going to be a great sister for my bestest buddy!
Welcome to the family Stella! Don't make Stanley mad because he is my bestest buddy ever and I will have to be mad at you too then!

Herc
